ABOUT ME

My journey to Yoga & Mixed Movement came via my love of Dance. I’m a former professional dancer, a dance science masters graduate…I guess you could say I’m a lover of movement in all it’s forms and I continue to be fascinated by what the body can do.

I took up Yoga at the age of 30 on an introductory offer thinking I would perhaps increase my flexibility and learn some cool inversions. And that I did… But I was not anticipating the profound effect that Yoga and Meditation would have on my mental health and wellbeing, particularly during a pandemic...

In recent years thanks to some incredible teachers, I also discovered the joy and freedom of Mixed Movement. A beautiful hybrid of Yoga, Mixed Martial Arts, Soft Acrobatics and Dance - this reconnected me to my roots without the worry of aesthetics. A mindful movement practice celebrating our innate sense of curiosity, creativity and play.

Having qualified in 2021, I now get to share the absolute gift of Yoga with you beautiful people and I honestly feel so blessed!

When you come to my class, you can expect a creative, fluid and fiery flow designed to challenge the body and overcome the limitations of the mind with lots of options and modifications for all bodies and levels. I love funky transitions and exploring how to move the body in different ways so expect a curveball every now and then. I am passionate about inclusivity and so ALL bodies are welcome in my classes no matter what shape, size or level.
